1、I think you know the SD is not real money, members can free to get SD from daily check in, replying & posting and etc. Buy-to-see is one of the ways that the SD (sugar dollars) are consumed. And pay-to-see reviews is also like rewarding the author.
SoCalE123 You would think you would want all the visitors to the site to read what the experience was like and book an appointment with a flower who sounds like they provide a positive experience.
2, We definitely want all visitors to read the reports, so we set common reports and premium reports to public, all guests can access the tag and view the posts. But, you know, the "visitors" of our site are not just hobbyists, they might be some other bookers, businesses, agencies.. they will steal the reviews for some other using. pay-to-see is a gentle way to avoid that.
3, Encourage people or build a behavior that everyone would post the reviews reports, I forgot how many times I heard hobbyists told us they cannot find reviews. even though I know some members already visited some spots. What I can answer about the question that not all people like to leave reviews. I suppose 80% or more members in our site never provide a review. So, Now, Pay-to-see is the way to set the limited, If members wanna see a reports, they could pay-to-see a report. Or, earning SDs from their reports or other ways.
4, Privacy reason, some members don't like to show some experience to public but only for members (registered users).
SoCalE123 It also lets us avoid flowers who may not provide good service.
5, the reports template not for all sections to pay-to-see contents, but only details, you could mention something under the preface or before the pay-to-see content. you could check this discussion in the Chitchat tag.
SoCalE123 At least make the reviews available in VIP Trench so those who post reviews can see each other’s reviews.
6, I think there are thousand and more hobbyists in VIP group, Only VIPs can view and access the VIP Trench Tag. At the beginning of our site open, we really encourage the VIPs to discuss and share their experiences in VIP tag, You or Esteemed VIPs definitely can share reviews in VIP Trench.
